Twofer April Card Challenge

I'm having a craft week it seems! I needed four birthday cards this week, another for our middle grandson who turns 11 next week, and many May birthdays to come. On Sunday I shared Altenew zinnia cards and today found more time in my craft space.

This month's Twofer Card Challenge: Zoo Animals ends Thursday and nothing was inspiring me among the few animal stamps I own. I finally remembered Hero Arts MMH African Safari set that I purchased two years ago. The elephant stamped in two ink shades made a fun thank you card. Its matching die and other items from the HA kit worked for my grandson's birthday card.

Easter Afternoon Cards

Today I stamped several die cuts creating a set of three cards
and found a fun wood stamp suitable for CASology's challenge.

Rennie Flowers medley

Sunday afternoon I played with a recent Altenew purchase.
Rennie Roses is unlike any other floral set I own and boy, is it versatile! I created three different panels: 1) using embossing resist with DO ink blending, 2) masking with a stenciled chevron strip behind the focal point, and 3) stamping off the edge on opposite corners with a scary (for me) splattering under a die cut sentiment.

Card #1
 Card Supplies:
PTI Shape Stackers: Large and Life Is Beautiful dies
Altenew Rennie Roses
Birch Press Celebrate Sugar Script die

Card #2
Card Supplies:
Altenew Rennie Roses, Hero Arts Borders Stencil
PTI Keep It Simple: Thinking of You
PTI Noted: Scalloped A2 die
Copics, PTI Bitty Big: Orange Zest paper, twine

I was drawn to the florals and colors in the
photo and used a clean-layered style.

Card #3
Card Supplies:
Altenew Rennie Roses, PTI Penned Elegance II stamps/dies
Altenew alcohol Artist Markers Set D

I'm thrilled with the different results on this first inking of my
new stamps. It would be difficult to pick my favorite!

WISH YOU THE MOST beautiful day

Recently I've been shopping my stash more. It's easy to be distracted with new products and ignore purchases not yet inked or cut. As the adage says, I'm a crafter and therefore I hoard! The Hero Arts Paper Layering Neighborhood die D1535 caught my eye last fall. I have an older large HA village stamp that I've neglected but it didn't prevent this die from joining my architecture collection. Using houses and city buildings varies card designs from my go-to florals and is appropriate for many situations and individuals.
