DAY 7 - SYS FLORAL STAMPS CARD 2

Finally unwrapped this Stampendous cling rubber stamp, Jumbo Peony, & black embossed it on white cardstock. Used Copic Markers to colorthe peony & Glossy Accents along lines & flower stamens. I would have used Stickles but this card is going to Operation Write Home & no glitter is allowed. Peony was attached to a ivory card stamped with Inkadinkadoo's Italian Writing in Versafine Vintage Sepia. The sentiment banner is from Papertrey Ink, Trendy Tree Tops, using Versafine Vintage Sepia ink and popped up on mounting tape .

DAY 7 - SYS FLORAL STAMPS CARD 1

Today we were inspired with various techniques using floral stamps.
Not having the featured stamp my cards look somewhat different.

Stamps: Hero Arts Flower Text, Papertrey Ink Think Big Favorites #15
Inks: T. Holtz Distress Bundled Sage, Broken China & Wild Honey Inks, VersaMark
White embossing powder, White & pale yellow cardstock, watercolor paper

White embossed VersaMark inked Flower Text stamp on watercolor paper. Sponged three Distress inks to color background & flowers. Used 1/8th corner rounder, directly adhered design to an A2 white card & colored the edges with DI Bundled Sage. Added the yellow banner with sentiment on dimensional tape & shaded edge with Prismacolor Prussian Sage pencil.

Thinking of You

DAY 2 - COLLAGE

Jennifer's card inspired me to use the Hero Arts collage stamp, a couple misc. dragonfly stamps from my stash & Spellbinders Labels 8 to die cut the frame. I really should have watched the video more than once before beginning the process as I didn't quite do her technique - but it's close!  :-0

DAY 1 - STRETCH YOUR STAMPS: BACKGROUND STAMP

I'm so excited to be back in class again this summer! Yeah for new ideas!  I chose to work with the Hero Arts zig-zag background stamp.  Inking the stamp with VersaMark ink on colored paper, I clear embossed & used 3 circle punches to make various sized circles. The sentiment & frame are from Paper Trey Ink.

Next white card stock was stamped with the zig-zag stamp using Soft Gray Shadow Ink. Ranger Distress inks were used to stamp the flower stamps (Impress) on white card stock & then I fussy cut them to layer on top of stamped stems.  The zig-zag background with flowers was adhered to a golden yellow A2 card; a thin dark gray strip on right side of card had a postage stamp punch edge. The "Thank You" square from a Hero Arts "T" clear stamp set was inked with Fresh Ink slate pigment ink.

The final card for today is more masculine, using Versa Mark ink to stamp the zig-zag stamp on a kraft A2 card.  Ranger Distress inks were used to stamp the rainbow colored banner on white card stock & a thinner orange banner from BasicGrey's "life of the party" 6x6 pad was layered over this.  Two oval Nestabilities dies were used for the frame set & a sentiment from Hero Arts OWH clear Year Round Sentiments.  The tiny orange heart was punched out of BG's orange paper, attached with a pop dot & covered with Glossy Accents to add some shine.
