Grateful - Thankful

Sharing one more set of Mondo Hydrangea cards

A stamped, clear embossed die cut bloom from white card stock was popped up on a striped PTI Mix & Mat Postal die cut panel. This was adhered to a white card front. A simple sentiment was added to a small Sentiment Suites banner from The Greetery.

This time I stamped the bloom on light green card stock and sponged  pink ink on a few petals. A red pen accented the petal centers. A large PTI Scallop Stacker die cut was ombre colored using a PTI Woodblock Prints stencil. This was placed on a Bitty Big chartreuse panel covering a white card front. PTI Enclosed: Leaf provides the sentiment.

My last card uses the same technique as the 2nd card but different ink colors. The saffron spice panel was die cut with a SS stitched rectangle, textured with Altenew's Dotted Swirls Debossing Cover Die, with a Greetery sentiment tag on the top. The panel was added to a saffron spice card.

Hang in There

With the current SS Monday Challenge: Feminine/Girly my mind went old school.  From 2002-2006 my son lived in West Seattle.  I regularly visited a LSS and the enormous Paper Zone warehouse to purchase many wood stamps. A particular group of vegetable stamps from Lockhart Stamping Co in Redmond, WA amused me and I bought the three in the photo above.  They were each stamped in Momento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics.  A PTI Noted: Scalloped A2 die cut the rectangle panel. It impresses a light scallop on both sides of the stitching, difficult to see in the photo. PTI's Infinity Frames Sentiments provided the perfect sentiment for these hanging veggies. The die cut panel was mounted with foam tape providing contrast on the card front.

Simon Says Stamp: Layer It Up Monday Challenge

Stephanie Gold  made her first MIM video for Papertrey Ink this week showing how to
create a die cut word sentiment which is glued on the inside of a card while showing
on a decorated, stamped front. After three cards I said, "enough is enough" and took
photos. I used different word sentiments and stamp sets with each card which became
less intricate than the last. Thanks, Stephanie for the challenge! Here's my humble card.
