I've had several stamped panels with Concord & 9ths' Tree Ring waiting to be transformed into cards. This week's CASology cue word is "Squiggle" and I was ready.

Such a fabulous design, Vikki! Love how you used tree ring patterns as a background for the grass and sentiment. They look so well together. I love a little bit vintage mood that I could feel from the kraft card stock and bronze colors you used for tree ring. Great masculine design, as well.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this card with us at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

Creative & beautiful, Vikki! I have trouble figuring out how to use that ring stamp--great card!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Greta. I know what you mean as they've been stamped since April. How could I resist sending a tree ring stamp to an older man? Heehee
DeleteWOWIE! is this ever cool!! I love every perfect detail on this card! you go girl!

thanks, Patti. I think tree rings work well for birthdays, especially for us oldies!
DeleteJust perfect!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! Love the embossed tree ring paired with the clover. Thanks for joining us at CASology!
ReplyDeleteHi Vikki, The squiggly pattern of the tree rings is a great take on the cue word. Very interesting CAS design. Thank you for playing along with us at the CASology challenge this week. Happy crafting. Hugs - Bharati
ReplyDeleteI love how great this stamp is for a birthday card, Vikki! Your design works great for either gender and it's perfect for the squiggle challenge! (Wish I'd had time to come up with something for that word, lol!) I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but I'd love to know where that photo is taken. We love southern Oregon. Can you email me where it is? Thank you! darnell dot knauss at gee mail dot com. Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet and stunning card! I think this is the perfect marriage of elegance and masculinity. It is rustic, but the metallic touches give it a sophisticated feel. I love the flower in the forefront, too. It is really lovely and I'm so glad you shared it with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
