hakuna matata

How could I pass up this challenge from CASology
and Time Out?

Last June I purchased Hero Arts' MMH kit. We have friends who have spent many years in Malawi and other African nations doing relief work in health and education. We were headed to Kenya in July 2017 with a church group to construct a school and now I could recreate those African safari scenes with this kit!

I photographed the card on top of a South African
copper telephone wire basket.

Below is a photo of the campus where we constructed two buildings (dark brown roofs). The older campus buildings are at the bottom. Two more groups followed ours and completed the campus  of five buildings and a large restroom. My husband and another dentist ran a dental clinic treating over 100 patients in five days.

  1. Just perfect! Our church also has a relationship with a church in Kenya. We make regular trips there, but I've never been a part of them.

  2. Love the basket & your card is wonderful, Vikki! Perfect for both these challenges! Hope you're enjoying our gorgeous weather!

  3. What a treasure your beautiful basket is! and the experience you had but most of all the treasure you left behind with your work and love for the people you helped!!

Your card and your heart are spectacular Vikki!

  4. What a fantastic design! I love the color scheme and the subtle chevron in the background!
Thank you so much for playing along with us over at CASology! :)

  5. Fantastic take on our challenge. I love the colors, texture, and that you photographed it on top of the South African basket. Just wonderful. Thanks for playing with us at Time Out!
