Papertrey June Blog Hop Challenge
Shades of ombre - Wow!
I'm nursing a summer cold and had some difficulty
thinking clearly as I pondered this serene photo for
the challenge. I took a literal interpretation, stamped
a jar in Versamark and clear embossed on water color
paper. I used a water brush and distress inks to create
the ombre bottom in the jar with a faint line of Tumbled
Glass outlining the entire jar. Gran's Garden flowers
and leaves are supported by Meadow Greens stems. The
panel was die cut with a SSS stitched rectangle die
and adhered to a light gray card. While I like the result
I'm not inclined to think it's my best effort! Oh, well, off
to the Arts Festival and then two weeks in Kenya building
a school and working in a dental clinic with my husband.
