Make It Monday #261
Using Florals on a Masculine Project
It's not always easy to make a card for a man and in my family that is a concern
as I have a husband, two sons, three grandsons, a brother, two BILs and uncles.
The challenge with Betsy Veldman at capture the moment gave me some
tips on incorporating florals stamps from my stash to make a masculine card.
Usually I use geometric figures, trees or leaves but a flower in the right color
and shape works too! I decided to also make the card larger, 4.5 x 6".
Your card is fantastic!! Love the flower peeking out from the center panel. Any guy would love getting this card!!
ReplyDeleteTotally works! Those banner shapes really help to reinforce the masculine feel.
ReplyDeleteThis turned out awesome! I love all the dies and stamps you used ! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteNicely done..I like the large banner type strip down the center and the one golden flower.

ReplyDeleteI know I can't say "beautiful" cause it's a guy card, but it's a really, really cool(?) card...love it Vikki!! :0)
ReplyDeletePerfect masculine card, Vikki, with the woodgrain background and floral arrangement peeking out from your Kraft banner.
