Make It Monday #248:
This week, Lizzie showed her tips for ink blending using our own die cut masks!
Here is her lovely example:
I chose Papertrey Ink's Cover Plate: Blue Skies Rays and Zappy Birthday dies. I used Distress Inks hickory smoke and black soot for the Zappy birthday city scape and squeezed lemonade for the sun rays, tumbled glass for the blue sky with a bit of ripe persimmon near the skyline. Grounded the scene with a washi tape road and added a Mama Elephant - Up Up and Away sentiment. That good lady Stella winked a bit of sparkle on the sun rays too.The masked panel is layered on foam over a charcoal woodgrain pattern paper.
Oh, this is wonderful, Vikki! I love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a good student of technique you are, Vikki! Your card is smashing in every way right down to the winking!! And, of course, the sediment is everything!! Hugs, Darnell
