MAKE IT MONDAY #210:
USING VELLUM TO SOFTEN PATTERNS
Many times I've stamped a background pattern and ended up cutting it up to lessen it's dramatic effect but thanks to Lizzie's video I can now "hide" the drama behind vellum. Try it - you'll like it!
My inspiration for this card comes from
Lizzie Jones' video on capture the moment blog.
Stamps: Papertrey Ink Lovely Layers and Wet Paint III
Inks: Hero Arts Grape Juice, Momento Pear Tart
PTI vellum, clear embossing powder, vellum tape, chartreuse A2 card base
Wonderful images through the stripes! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove how you used your vellum Vikki and the Wet Paint die is fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice way to use Lovely Layers! The striped vellum really softens the background nicely.
