Sending Prayers

Experimented this afternoon with some watercoloring and making scribble die cuts look like flowers, a bit loose on my interpretation of Marika's card . Her coloring technique is stunning and is featured on the latest Time Out challenge - Case With Your Own Twist.

After brushing some wet ink on water color card stock, I scored the panel to imitate her vertical line and die cut flowers using an old pattern paper.

Card Recipe:
Ink: Distress shaded lilac & squeezed lemonade, Versafine Onyx Black
Stamps/Dies: PTI Circle Scribbles, Beautiful Butterflies-sentiment, SSS stitched rectangles
Platinum Stickles for floral centers

  4. What a fabulous card, Vikki! It's a bit odd, but your card is the second one I've seen in the last hour that used those scribble flowers in a way that I like, so now you, too, have inspired me to get the darn things out and use them! Thank you!! Enjoy your day!! Hugs, Darnell
