June 30: Week 1, Card #2
Last night was frustrating trying to add a 2nd post to this new blog of mine and then upload a 2nd card to the online class. This morning blogger is back online and things are going better.
Yesterday I played around with a pad of paper from me & my BIG ideas, Destination Paradise; it has many sheet with our color challenge colors. I stacked three strips of paper, punched a large scallop to create a 3-layer flower with message center and a pearl strip to balance things per Kristina's video. It's hard to see but I used Hero Arts envelope pattern stamp with a blue shadow ink on the top half of the card background - love that stamp! The inside message is "Life should not only be lived but celebrated" from Penny Black. The purple middle layer of the flower was created by rubbing a Marvy ink pad on paper, punching it with a Marvy 2" circle punch and fringing the edges with Martha Stewarts' fringe scissors - kinda hard to see this.
