Fun Stuff

Week 4, Card #2

Using my square scalloped Marvy punch, I punched four different prints and lined them along the middle of a business envelope size card. The dragonfly was stamped in VersaMark ink and embossed with white powder. The green polka-dot square has a Making Memories green printed strip and baker's twine bow.  The 3rd square used a Martha Stewart butterfly punch; the butterfly was laid on the VersaMark pad and then embossed with platinum tinsel powder. The last sq. has a Paper House daisy sticker.  I used 3 round platinum brads under the 1st square. The bottom corners of the card were rounded off.

Sea, Sun, Sail

Week 4, Card #1

I used a corner punch on all four corners to secure the paper square, backed it with dimensional tape and then placed it over nautically stamped stripes and a strip of corrugated paper.  A small shell would be a nice touch but all my shells looked to large.

hello

Week 3 of Card Camp

I love these colors - reminds me of a cappuccino!
Here's my 1st card attempt with a few close-ups to see more details.

The paper card is a textured paper but doesn't show well in the photo.  I stamped a dark brown ink with my wood grain stamp to create the frame for the window.  The owls were stamped with Color Box Red Chalk ink on a white glossy paper and mounted with dimensional tape.  The branch was stamped on dark brown paper and fussy cut.  I designed the "hello" tag using small oval punch with paper stamped with VersaMark ink and the hello embossed in white and mounted on a strip, hung by a strand of twine from the branch above. The Hero Arts Village background stamp was stamped with Color Box Dune ink on plain white card stock.
