Make It Monday #146 Angled Backgrounds

The first of my Valentine cards!

I cut a piece of white cardstock, 4"x 5.25" and covered it with red & white washi
tapes laid at an angle. Die cut 3 hearts from panel and attached it to a top folding
A2 card. Using the same 3 heart dies on silver cardstock, placed them inside
washi tape panel negative spaces and added 3 silver sequins. The sentiment
strip was stamped, the heart colored with a crimson Berol Prisma color pencil,
and mounted with foam dimension tape
.

May Your Days be Merry & Bright

Make It Monday #140
Ink Pad Designs

Ashley showed two cards using the uniquely shaped PTI ink pads to color
the cardstock on her cards. I used little cat eye ink pads, using a mask to keep
it inside the circle. The die cut wreath was stamped with violet ink, leaves
colored with a silver Sharpie and purple/violet Sharpies for the berries. Then a spray
coat of the Shimmer Spritz to make it shiny. I added the ribbon to make it more like
a Christmas ornament mounting it on a silver A2 card.

Leaves fall

Make It Monday #138

Inlaid Die-Cuts

With PTI's Mighty Oak Die I first die cut a kraft sheet.
Next used the same die to cut a 4.25 x 5.5  piece of ivory
card stock removing all of the leaves and tree.
The kraft negative die cut sheet was laid over a top fold
A2 ivory card and various leaves were stamped with Hero Arts shadow inks.
After removing the kraft sheet, I glued the ivory die cut sheet to the A2 card
aligning all of  the leaves to show through their holes. Then inlaid the
kraft die cut tree which had been stamped with gold ink to give it
some shimmer. Text is from the Mighty Oak stamp set. Voila.

Die: PTI Mighty Oak
Stamps: PTI Might Oak
Ink: Hero Arts Shadow Inks: Butter Bar, Soft Sage, Soft Wheat,
Soft Cantelope, Just Rust, Cup O Joe

Started with white watercolor paper, stamped heart images from PTI Framed Out #11 with Versamark Ink and embossed with white embossing powder.
